Hey guys! There have been a lot of questions regarding Freedom! points lately, so we've decided to create this little post to clear up some confusion.

We will be updating this post whenever something new comes up so be sure to check in often!

What is Freedom! Points?
Freedom! Points is a system in which partners can gain points based on channel growth and community participation, which can then be exchanged for various perks. At the moment, the points can be exchanged for a higher revenue share for a particular month but other things may be offered in the future.]

The current situation (as of June 14, 2014)
Freedom! Points is currently in BETA -- which means that it is in the testing stage and functionality is at a bare minimum at the moment. It's only been open to the public so the developers can get more feedback on the system. Because of this, there are some important things to note:

1. Points can be redeemed, but will not be processed.
   You can spend your points on the revenue bonuses but the bonuses themselves will not be handed out. As much as we would love to give all our lovely partners the increased revenue share, there's a huge risk involved in doing something like that when the system is still not in tip-top shape.
   
   
2. The calculation of points should still work regardless.
   You should still be able to earn points from your channel growth and community participation even if we are still in the testing phase. If there are points that haven't been rightfully given to you, be sure to contact our support team about this at [email protected] or you can directly contact the developer at [email protected].
   
   
3. All points will be wiped after the BETA.
   Yep, that's right. All points earned will be removed from your account once testing is done, so you can actually spend all your points without having to worry about the future. We understand that these points are valuable to our partners, so some sort of compensation will be in the works for those who participated in the BETA. Details on what that will be will be announced whenever the information is available.

In the video it is clear that it is a beta, which is above tells you that it is a for testing.

If it's testing, then shouldn't the points work? Just becuase BF Hardline is in Beta doesn't mean you can't level up.

The point of the test is to test the functionality of it. As in any beta nothing you earn like levels etc is final, it is gone after the test.

For being a part of the beta as George said, there will likely be points bestowed when it is launched, as a way of saying thanks. Look at this like monopoly money.

So could I just get my 110% for may and subtract the amount of Freedom Points it costs when the Beta is over?

Don't quote me on this (maybe another mod can clarify) but if I heard George right you can apply the freedom points for a month of your choosing. So this could mean that when you have enough freedom points you can pick a past month to get the 110% on with your real balance.

If we could apply them to past months, that would make this less of an issue for me. WHen I selected May to begin with last month, it wasn't applicable for past months. (Won't let you elect them)

The information on what is to happen after Beta is not finalized yet. As such, we are unable to come up with an answer for this.

But how much increase your channel should have to take points?
Is there an average amount or any specific requirements??

Points can be redeemed, but will not be processed.
So unfortunately we can't give you the 110% as there's many risks and problems with the system.

Exactly, though I'm going to stay since I like protection over money.

To be clear, the 110% is just a bonus that Freedom! is willing to reward you with for community participation and channel growth. Everyone will have their points wiped after the end of the testing period, no partner is getting the bonus during the testing period, and you will still be paid the amount you have rightfully earned on your channel, so everyone is being treated fairly here and no money is being taken away from you.

Im still stuck at 41 points it says my views and subs increased by % but still no points is this a bug
