Hey guys sorry for the upcoming paragraph in this thread. So my girlfriend and I are moving into a new apartment a lot sooner than we thought (due to family issues so it was rushed by a few months) and we wound up having to move like 3 hours away to upstate New York. AND the place doesn't come furnished like we originally thought. So that means I have to rent a UHaul Moving Truck to go about 200 miles (just to get to apartment) to move all of our furniture. BUT if all the furniture doesn't fit on one trip, I am going to have to drive another 200 miles BACK to get the rest of the furniture and then ANOTHER 200 miles back to the apartment. And since UHaul charges 1.39 per mile driven, that's about $834 dollars needed just to drive the truck, excluding gas and the original fee. And considering money is so goddamn tight its going to be extremely difficult to pull this off and am so stressed and worried. Someone tell me good things please to cheer me up cause I can't right now

Ouch I'd probably end up just buying some cheap outdoor furniture and living with that :D Once you move in at least you can relax, if it has to be done better just get it out of the way. Is it possible to rent a small truck for the day? $800 sounds quite expensive
